Notable cases: Her notable cases include: - Conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism - Numerous murders including murders with multiple defendants and murders involving more than one victim - The attempted murder of a senior civil servant allegedly by a Quartermaster in the IRA - The attempted murder of a police officer - The first prosecution for soliciting a suicide on the internet - The “Chelsea Headhunters” case involving nationwide organised violence by football hooligans - The prosecution of nationwide far right groups for conspiracy to incite racial hatred through publications and the internet - Conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism - Conspiracy to defraud casinos by an organised criminal group - Perverting the course of justice; and - Many serious sexual offences including historic rape.

Marilyn has practised exclusively as a criminal lawyer throughout her career. She founded Mark & Co. which is now the longest established firm carrying out criminal work in the West Kensington/Hammersmith area. Marilyn is a Higher Rights Advocate with many years experience of dealing with serious crime.

Marilyn is graded an A fee earner for the purposes of Very High Cost Cases and has considerable experience in preparing complex VHCC matters including: large drug importation by organised crime, money laundering, multi handed murder and armed robbery.

Marilyn represents teachers through their union and nurses through the Royal College of Nursing.
