FUNDING YOUR CASE

TV Edwards are dedicated to providing the highest standard of service whether clients are publicly or privately funded. We will discuss funding with you at the outset of your case.

In publicly funded cases we hold a specialist quality mark from the Legal Services Commission in all appropriate areas of law.

If money is recovered or retained in proceedings with the help of funding from the Legal Services Commission in a civil case, some or all of the legal costs out of that money or property will have to be repaid to the Legal Services Commission. In this way public funding can act as a loan. This is known as the statutory charge but it does not apply in all cases.

For privately funded cases we will estimate the cost of your case at the outset and keep you regularly informed. Our charges are clear cut and competitive providing affordable expertise with close proximity of the city.

For personal injury cases a “no win no fee” arrangement is normally available.  For further details of fees in personal injury cases click here

We offer a fixed fee interview with confirmation of advice given for £150 plus VAT.
Our charges are otherwise as follows:

  • Partners £180 – £240 per hour plus VAT
  • Assistant Solicitors 3 years PQE £150 – £210 per hour plus VAT
  • Junior Solicitors £120 – £170 per hour plus VAT
  • Paralegals and trainees £105 per hour plus VAT
