We are able to offer both Family and Civil mediation services.
Family Mediation couples to develop their own answers to the dilemmas of separation. The mediator helps with the process but never imposes solutions.
Collaborative family law solicitors enable separating couples to come up with their own, tailored, solutions. It centres on negotiation through specially trained collaborative lawyers. Other professionals (including therapists and accountants) can be brought in to help.
Even if family mediation does not provide complete answers, it can help define the issues. When it works, the resulting solutions tend to last, precisely because they suit the people involved and have not been imposed from “outside”, by a court.
Our lawyers can also offer collaborative solutions. A mediated or collaborative settlement can be used to put together a “consent order” to finalise the legal aspects of a separation.
