How we work
We act for individuals and groups of people who believe their human rights are being violated by the state or other public bodies. We specialise in judicial review – the process by which the Administrative Court ensures that public bodies act fairly. We also provide advice to organisations and offer advice on how they can lawfully exercise their powers and avoid unnecessary litigation.
Our Housing work focuses on tenants and homless applicants. We give high quality legal advice, explaining carefully the options available and assisting clients to obtain their legal rights.
We are approachable and friendly. Many of our clients are in stressful situations, which we recognise. We can arrange home, hospital or prison visits if appropriate. We use trusted independent interpreters in a wide range of languages.
“I was desperate when I came to T V Edwards. They saw me straightaway and helped me keep my home.” – client we defended from attempted eviction
