At TV Edwards we believe in supporting our community by going beyond just providing first-class legal services. We aim to build strong relationships with our local communities by supporting local projects and undertaking our own. Our projects range from fundraising activities to long-term projects where we work directly with not-for-profit agencies to enhance the services they provide. We also work closely on “capacity building”, training not-for-profit agencies to enable them to extend the work they already do with additional legal expertise.
Below is a list of TV Edward’s current projects:
London Legal Walk
It's that time of year again where our employees are strapping on their trainers to carry out the great London Legal Walk. This sponsored walk (or run for those brave members of staff) helps raise money for the London Legal Support Trust, ensuring those most vulnerable have access to justice. Great Legal Bake
TV Edwards took part in the Great Legal Bake to raise money for legal advice agencies around London. A lot of effort was put in by our employees to make these delicious cakes. Please see pictures below.
Enfield Legal Partnership Project
ELPP is a new service from Enfield Disability Action, they aim to help disabled people and their careers in the London borough of Enfield get better access to justice. TV Edwards are offering their expert legal advice to support the free bi-monthly drop in advice sessions held in Enfield North London. We are also providing direct access to a lawyer by telephone or email to support the advice network in Enfield outside of surgery hours. To find out more please click here.
Halloween Charity Cake Sale
TV Edwards’ employees seek any opportunity to raise money for a good cause. This is why they are at it again, baking delicious Halloween cakes to raise money for the charity Primary Immunodeficiency UK and Childhood Leukemia. A big thank you and well done to all employees who contributed today and especially to Jennifer Headon and Denise Ingamells for organising this cake sale.
Macmillan Cancer Support
We are very proud of Rose Brooks of TV Edward’s Billing team for helping to raise over £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support. In typical TV Edwards fashion it was no ordinary coffee morning when we took part in Macmillan’s national coffee morning campaign. On offer was the expected: Carrot Cake, Victoria Sponge and Brownies but we also raised money by selling delicious Curry!
We doubled last years takings, so well done to all the bakers and not forgetting those who left the office feeling a little full!
