TV Edwards Amy Beales Elected Youngest Councillor Epping Forest District Council

TV Edwards Solicitors are incredibly proud of Amy Beales, paralegal in our private client team, who was recently elected as Loughton Residents' Association councillor,  the youngest ever member of Epping Forest District Council.

Aged just 21, Amy was elected in Loughton Forest ward where two seats were up for grabs, one of them previously held by the Conservatives.

Amy has lived in Loughton for 12 years. In Holland, she studied International and European Law and joined TV Edwards in February 2016.

Managing Partner Julian Overton said “I am delighted at Amy’s success but not surprised! Amy is incredibly hard working, focused and a people person. The people of Epping Forest are lucky to have such a talented lawyer representing them”.

Amy says” I hope to be a role model for the younger constituents in the district, taking the council to task on matters which are of significance locally and demonstrating that the youth can and should influence change for good”
