She also has extensive experience of providing advice and assistance before Hospital Managers’ hearings, Care Pathway Approach meetings and generally in respect of mental health patients both in and out of hospital.
Azrina has dealt with aftercare arrangements and complex forensic cases. She has worked with particularly sensitive clients including minors and the elderly. In doing so she has proven herself able to maintain a confident and professional service.
Azrina places great importance in ensuring a good rapport with her clients from the outset. She believes that a good working relationship results in the best outcome for her clients and their objectives being met.
Azrina is able to work effectively with both her clients and mental health professionals to ensure a positive outcome for her clients. Azrina provides detailed and regular advice to her clients, ensuring they meet their objectives quickly.
Azrina was introduced to mental health law following a period of work experience in 2012. She was interested in this area having studied both law and psychology.
After working as a paralegal and training in mental health law, Azrina was able to experience working with different clients in different cases and unique circumstances. She saw the significant impact on her clients in having a legal representative to assist and advise them through extremely difficult periods, whether detained in hospital or living in the community with mental health issues.
For this reason, Azrina decided to practice in the field of Mental health Law after qualifying as a Solicitor.
Outside of work, Azrina volunteers weekly for Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) as a Scheduler, a role she has undertaken for over 12 years.
She is also a freelance Asian bridal makeup and henna artist.
