Emma joined TV Edwards in 2016 to head the Family Finance team. She has fifteen years' experience working with individuals separating from their spouses or partners and is named in the Legal 500 independent directory as an expert in this field, being described as "well-liked by clients and very strong in cross-border matters". Most commonly, Emma assists her clients in resolving complex financial disputes – usually involving high value businesses, trusts and investments, including those offshore. Emma also helps parents make decisions about their children, such as where they should live or go to school. Emma’s clients have told her they value her clear, practical advice and her firm, fair approach. She prides herself on the sympathetic support she provides.

  • Ensuring a child's emergency return to his home and school after his mother unilaterally removed him to a different part of the country
  • Securing the court's permission for a mother to take her daughter to live permanently in Australia
