Whilst studying Law at The University of York between 2013 and 2016 Georgia specialised mainly in criminal law subjects, and subsequently wrote her dissertation on the application of the bad character provisions within the Criminal Justice Act 2003 in relation to gang-membership. After graduating from York, she undertook an LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice at The University of Edinburgh. It was here that Georgia became specifically interested in the study of sexual offences and domestic violence.
Whilst undertaking her masters degree she volunteered at an Immigration Law centre, assisting with the preparation of visa, and settlement applications.
Georgia has been awarded a York Law School Citizenship.
