Part Time Receptionist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our reputable law firm.  Based at our offices in Whitechapel, the successful applicant will have previous  experience of switchboard/reception preferably within the legal field.

Excellent organisational and administrative skills and a professional manner are essential.  Experience of telephone work; demonstrating a courteous, helpful and pleasant telephone manner. Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically when dealing with a wide range of people.  Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

The role will predominately be answering incoming calls to the switchboard and dealing
with clients both face to face and on the telephone. Strong reception skills along with first
class customer facing skills and a positive and confident personality are required for this role.

The role also involves general administration and post room duties - opening and scanning of post, DX and managing meeting room facilities.  A pro-active approach with the ability to use initiative is also essential.

  • Salary depending on experience
  • 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday) with flexibility to cover team members
  • Hours 8:30 – 5.00 (total 15 hours per week)
  • 23 days holiday pro rata

Qualifications – Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) is essential - Maths and English Grade A-C
