Partner and Head of Department Dispute Resolution and Litigation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partner and Head of Department to lead our expanding dispute resolution and litigation team.

You will already be a Partner or be an Associate level solicitor looking to take the next step in your career.  You will be experienced in all aspects of property law and civil litigation. This will include landlord and tenant law (including having acted for landlords in possession and disrepair claims), and  leasehold work (statutory lease extension procedure, collective enfranchisement procedure and dispute resolution). Experience in other areas of civil litigation, especially contentious probate, would be welcome.

You will have proven leadership and supervision skills.  You will be an excellent communicator with an interest in business development.  We are seeking a bright individual who will display energy and enthusiasm in developing the role and the team. You will be supported by senior managers to grow and develop both the team and the role.  This is an area of strategic focus for the firm and you will be an integral part of this focus.

You will be working with colleagues specialising in litigation and will receive direct referrals from our conveyancing and family colleagues. Our reputation for good quality advice and representation has been recognised by Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.

Our staff are our best asset and we reward performance, provide flexible working practices and positively encourage every individual’s contribution to the firm’s success. As acknowledged in our Lexcel accreditation, we offer excellent support and training opportunities.
